Gates to nowhere

I was on my way home from a visit to Cornwall and wanted one last look at the sea. On a road between Boscastle and Bude a sign reads 'Cliffs 1 mile' which is where I took this picture. I stayed for an hour just absorbing and taking in this beautiful vista. I ask myself "how many places do we drive past in our rush of daily life?"

Sometimes, a nice picture becomes a great picture because nature provides something spectacular, like the clouds in this shot. Don't we all wish we could be in the right place at the right moment to capture such beauty?
