Description

Newbury, Berkshire

Apartments built 1980-82 stand on the site of one of Newbury's mills that had been here since at least the 1600s until it was demolished in 1972. Opposite the mill had been The Crown pub demolished in the 20th century. The mills here giving this area near Newbury's town centre, the name of West Mills.
