Description

Welford, Berkshire

The former right of way and station platforms at Welford Park of the Lambourn Valley Railway that ran from Newbury to Lambourn from 1898 to 1973. Welford Park station closed to passenger traffic in Jan. 1960, and was unusual having both up and downline platforms.
