Description

Adder on the cliff edge at Mullion Cove

A somewhat unexpected find in a fierce wind and right near the cliff edge. This is Britain's only venomous reptile, though it's bite is really only dangerous to children and frail adults. Easily recognised by the diamond pattern on its back.
