Description

Stan Laurel statue

St Peter's RC Church in Princes Street, where Stan was christened in 1891. The church is not far from the Jeffersons family home, and just a few hundred yards from Theatre Corner, where the statue now stands. The font in the church is the one used in Stan's christening.

Just a minor point St.Peters is a C of E Church, the Roman Catholic Church is at the top of Princes Street and then to the right.
