The Kirkstone Inn

The Kirkstone Inn is at the top end of the road running north east out of Ambleside known as 'The Struggle'. This picture is from a little over half a mile below the top end of The Struggle. The Kirkstone Inn marks the top of the Kirkstone Pass. Turn right for Troutbeck and Windermere, turn left for a wonderful decent towards Ullswater
