Description

Lily Tarn

Lily Tarn on Todd Crag above Ambleside to the west looking across the tarn with Loughrigg in mid distance and the Langdale fells just showing in the distance. A lovely place to be. But not a place to go swimming!!! The roots of the lilies have proved fatal on more than one occasion!!!

A surreal looking scene with the tree on the island which shows better in reflection. That is not where you went for an icy paddle the other year?
