YHA Patterdale is a Scandinavian-style rural retreat set in the Lake District National Park. Hiking, rock climbing and watersports can all be enjoyed in the local area. Free private parking is available on site. Shared bathroom facilities are provided with each room, and guests have access to laundry facilities and a self-catering kitchen. Home-cooked meals are available in the dining area. Boat trips can be taken along Lake Ullswater, with the ferry landing just 20 minutes’ walk from YHA Patterdale. A self-drive motor, fishing or row boat can be hired from St. Patrick’s Boat Landing, which is 1.5 miles away. Guests can also cycle along the shoreline on a mountain bike, which can also be rented from the boat landing.
