Description

Nanny Lane

Troutbeck only a few hundred yards away now. Looking back up Nanny Lane away from Troutbeck, waited here for best part of 15 minutes to try to get the shot without people and this is as good as it got. It was a very busy day on this walk.

It's difficult on a busy day to get a shot without people, I've stood around places for ages waiting for them to move, or trying to get them hidden behind a tree or a building.

I think the people and where they are positioned make the shot- gives scale and perspective and what it is all about.

The figures provide a focal point and the shot would lose its interest without them
