I was hoping to get a shot of this steam loco from the track-side as it came under the bridge that I took this image from. It arrived about seven minutes early and the only shot I got was this ........... It is 4964 Rood Ashton Hall and was built in 1929.

May not be the 'classic' shot you were looking for Patrick, but is a great image of the footplate interior with firebox door open too. A somewhat busy footplate toowith 4 men on

I think if it was on time you would have got the standard shot as you had in your mind. I reckon this one is so full of interest and detail focussed just right you have that extra special shot you would otherwise have missed. Proper Job !
