Description

Shillingstone in Dorset

Shillingstone Parish Church, viewed from The North Dorset Trailway. A fine example of a Norman Church, dating from 1090, with the tower being added in 1450. A building well worth a closer inspection.

A visit to Shillingstone looks like it's on the books now. What a lovely scene.

Very nice the way the branches/leaves in the foreground frame the church.
