The Old Arsenal Stadium at Highbury

The iconic East façade of the old Arsenal Football Stadium at Highbury. Arsenal played at this venue from September 1913 until May 2006 when they moved to the new Emirates Stadium at Ashburton Grove. The old football ground has been redeveloped into flats but the old East and West frontages have been saved as they are Grade II listed buildings and considered to be excellent examples of Art Deco Architecture. Photo taken by my crazy Arsenal fan son on a recent visit to England

Fortunately has been preserved the facade of this historic and glorious Stadium.
