Poppies round the Tower of London

800,000 ceramic poppies are being placed around the Tower of London in Memory of all the British Commonwealth people who lost their lives 100 years ago in the First World War. The last poppy will be placed on November 11th 2104 which is Remembrance Day.

Absolutely wonderful! The picture and the event itself. My two great-uncles, whose bodies lie on the Somme, remembered amonst the (too) many.
