A picture of Hall i' th' Wood

Hall i' th' Wood house, near Bolton, Lancashire. Built in 15th century, home to Samuel Crompton in the 18th century. In 1779 in this building he invented the 'Spinning Mule' which revolutionised the cotton industry.
