The Ford, Water Lane, Hagworthingham, Lincolnshire

One of Lincolnshire’s fords can be found on the little back road from Lusby to Hagworthingham where the Hagnaby Beck crosses the road diagonally in a little hollow on the edge of Hagworthingham. Usually the water runs quite clear but, taken recently following a torrential downpour earlier in the day on already saturated ground, this shot shows the beck running faster, deeper and deeply coloured. Quite a lot of debris has also been washed down the approach to the ford.
