Description

A picture of Aisthorpe

The Anglican parish church at Aisthorpe, 6 miles north of Lincoln, is dedicated to St. Peter. Rebuilt in 1868 with a splendid broach spire to serve the small hamlet it now appears no longer in use. The churchyard is overgrown, but with paths cut through, and only a few graves are tended the rest of the grave stones enveloped in long grass and weeds.
