A strong image, good use of the wide-angle lens, but the pier is inevitably a road to nowhere, perhaps a symbol of futility (sorry being too philosophical here)
(15th March 2015)I have often trodden on the "road to nowhere" Edward. But, I've always so far, come back again.
I've seen how far the sea goes out at Southport so it needs a long pier. I love walking on here. Very nice shot Rod.

(16th March 2015)The wide-angle lens has created a strong diagonal from the silhouetted pier. I'm another one often to be found on this lengthy structure.
