Well done Debbie! You are out there and taking shots! One tip (which is not always necessarily the case) - but try to get your horizon level so that it doesn't appear to be leaning inland (in this shot!)
Again you are limited by the rubbish weather but as Cath says keep your horizons horizontal
As Dave says it is just the worst weather ........ If you can get some basic photo editing software you can easily straighten the horizon with a crop.
