Oh well done Jez, have wanted to capture a kingfisher for ages but never seen more than a blue streak. And you have it in a well composed image as well. Excellent !!.

Superb image...... I hope to find one at Slimbridge but not hopeful to get a perfect picture like this.
Excellent sharpness coupled with shallow depth of field make this shot stand out. Great result in what was probably dim light too.
