Description

Wickhampton Church

There is not much in the village today, close by the Church it opens up to Halvergate Marshes. Legend has it that the two Churches were owned by brothers who were in conflict. After their death the Churches were known as Wicked-Hampton (Wickhampton) and Helll-Fire-Gate (Halvergate) this info is in the Church.
