St Oswald's Church, in Castle Bolton, Wensleydale

There was a church here from the 12th Century and the present building still predates Bolton Castle by about 70 years. Apparently Mary Queen of Scots attended services at St Oswald's during her imprisonment in the castle standing just a few yards away.
