Boats on Sheffield and South Yorkshire Canal, Sprotbrough

Sprotbrough is one of the loveliest spots on the Sheffield & South Yorkshire Navigations. Next to 17th Century pub, The Boat Inn, its grassy banks are within an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and this special place is an extremely popular spot for a Sunday stroll, a leisurely bike ride, a peaceful fish or just to lie back and gaze up at the sky and watch the birds.
