Cliffe Castle

Cliffe Castle was the former home of the Butterfield family.The main building is now a museum. The house and gardens are free to visitors . Originally known as Cliffe hall it was built between 1828-1833 .Cliffe hall was purchased in 1848 by the Butterfield family. It was presented to the Keighley district in 1950 by Sir Bracewell Smith.
