A picture of Belton House

The Orangery, Belton House, Belton, Lincolnshire. To the north of the large Italian gardens of Belton House lies an orangery, a feature of royal and aristocratic residences through the 17th and 18th centuries. It is a type of greenhouse in which citrus trees were grown in tubs and wintered under cover.
