Description

Disused Swimming Pool at King's Meadow, Reading

A rare view inside this Grade II listed Edwardian swimming pool, which has been closed to the public since 1973. It is now in a bad state of repair due to neglect and vandalism. A group of volunteers have proposed a plan for reopening it as a summer swimming pool / winter ice rink. Lack of funding seems to be a major issue.
