Fort Paull 001

The first Fort to be be built at Paull was completed in 1542. This fort was commissioned by Henry VIII as a defence for the then thriving Humber Ports, specifically Kingston Upon Hull. The Fort and site subsequently changed twice more before the fourth and final fort was built on the present site in 1862.
