Description

Distant view of Pentewan beach, Cornwall

Pentewan is a quiet little village two miles up the coast from Mevagissey. Better known perhaps for the caravan park, which is just out of sight in this view from nearby cliffs, the village once had a busy harbour, but its channel out to the sea was blocked some years ago and it now has an air of quiet decay.
