Sutton Courtenay, Oxfordshire

The grave at All Saints Church of American-born David Astor who was editor of the Observer newspaper and friend of George Orwell, buried near-by. David Astor was part of the prominent and wealthy Astor family of whom John Jacob Astor was the wealthiest passenger aboard the SS Titanic where he perished, though his wife survIved.
