One of the east coast girls here!  I didn't take an official measurement at my house, but the snow was knee deep on the ground next to my car.  It was pretty on Saturday while it was snowing and on Sunday with the sunshine, but now the dirty bits are starting to show by the roads where they've plowed (ploughed?).  Ruth, my daughter and I did indeed break out the cookie sheets and baked up a storm.  Not much fun for the dog, who was loathe to step outside in it!  Mind you, the snow was twice as high as he is!  We had to clear a spot on the grass just for him.  A wintry mix of snow/sleet/rain predicted for Christmas Day here.  Oh bother!

Weather is lovely here-sunny and very pleasant-temperatures between 15-25 deg.Celcius.There is a One-Day Cricket match between India and Sri Lanka in the famous Eden Gardens Stadium today!

Our Michigan forecast is for an ice storm this evening and tomorrow (Christmas Day)--possibly up to a quarter of an inch of ice and high winds. My brother and sister-in-law may have to delay their trip here from Chicago until the day after Christmas.

Snow melted, raining again and it looks unlikely now to be a white Christmas here in the west midlands.

Blue sky, the snow has gone locally. The severe frost overnight has melted and once again we have beautiful England.
