The folks at PETA would be relieved if that were true, Cathy!

I think we're trying to cram those 6 weeks of winter into this week.  National Weather Service is now predicting the snow to begin here Friday morning and continue to Saturday evening and maybe into Sunday with accumulations of 10-20 inches possible in places.  Crikey!

"We're having a blizzard...a wintery blizzard...." (sung to the tune of Irving Berlin's "Heatwave").   Holy icemelt, Batman!  The snow accumulation estimate just keeps climbing - currently 16-24 inches for the Washington DC/Virginia/Maryland area and due to start in the morning.  I've already arranged to take the day off.
