Cloudy, cool and rain on the way for later. The weeds are taking over in the garden, whilst nearly everything else has failed this year including cucumbers, victoria plums, carrots, radish, tomatoes, runner beans...

Very few butterflies on the Buddleia......whats going on?

Cloudy but warm today.  I don't have a garden, but judging by the amount of runner beans I am being given by various people it seems to be a very good year for them down here.  I'm still waiting for the cucumbers, plums, carrots, etc. to appear though!!  Haha!

Looked uncertain early on but has been reasonable. Hope it's OK tomorrow got a horsey event going on in the park behind me, so probabably spend most of the day there, may be something worth graphically portraying for your delights

The overnight forecast from midnight to 8AM of 60mm ( 2 1/2" ) of rain has so far been  1.2mm.   Is there a deluge about to arrive soon from France----though the surface wind is currently N NE at 4 mph, perhaps blowing it back???????

The 18th Aug was the wettest and coldest August day for nearly 10 years in our region.

we desperately need rain here in the Midlands, live in a River valley and the rain clouds go around us every time, not had significant rain for 3 months. the poor garden and plants are all but dying...BBC yesterday said rain across the Midlands and, yes, again it has gone around us and the sun is shining......

Very knowledgable weather jargon Paul, I like it.
