Feels like we might get a good frost tonight here in Oxfordshire - we shall see, but today has been chilly to say the least.

There has been a cold wind throughout Oxfordshire all day today and the forecast is for it to get colder with snow on the way!

Time for a new thread after this page eh James?

I have heard nothing from Sue H despite sending several private emails months ago. It's very worrying, we were close enough for me to say she would not ignore me and I fear the worst after the bouts of cancer.

Sue H visited her former home in Wheatley quite regularly and was one of few members to visit POE HQ - the site she loved, probably because it was built around her school and the lane that to her was so beautiful, yet so far from the dessert where she lived in the USA.

Thank you for thinking of her James.

We woke up to a hard frost, but have the pleasure of a blue sky right now. The sun is shining and it doesn't feel like a January winters day here in Oxfordshire. It's going to drop to minus 6 degrees on Saturday, apparently!

Get your 'long johns' on James!
