Unsettled, with rain and sunshine and not typical 'Cuckoo' weather. Heard the Cuckoo last week (20 April in fact) so sunshine is on it's way now...

Told Ya!

The Cuckoo knows when the sun is going to shine and will only arrive when it applies. He was here on the 20th (7 days earlier than usual) normally 27th April each year.

A scorcher is on the way, you heard it here first! lol

I think the Cuckoo has turned tail and is heading back home because it absolutely tipped it down here in Oxfordshire today.

According to this evenings weather forecast it's going to pick up again by the weekend, but we're in for a cold snap tomorrow night. The Cuckoo should be back soon then Ron.

Cold and windy. Windy, windy, windy.

Typical for May here though, so can't grumble.

Next week temps are supposed to hit the high 80's. Looking forward to that, I am.  I'm going to recuperate in the sunshine, by sitting out on the deck. Nice!

Has somebody shot the Cuckoo?

Hopefully the weather will turn to sunshine during the next few days and the winds will drop.
