Hello all, Searching for any records of the late Ann Brown, born around 1778, married a Robert Taylor on the 28/121807 Turkdean Gloucestershire, he passed on 17/1/1825 and Ann passed away on 4/12/1837, father maybe a John Brown? and mother Mary?.

Sorry can't help with Ann's parents but can see where you're coming from with their daughter, Mary Ann Brown/Cantle living in NSW after she and her hubby emmigrated there.

But I think there's a good chance Mary Ann was named after her grand mother and mother.
