Hi, everyone I heard you over there got snow (it was on the news). Kinda looked like christmas. I don`t feel so bad now because we here on the praires (in Canada, Edmonton to be exact) we got snow too. It been 7 months now of snow on the ground- getting pretty tired of it. Anybody find the answer to my original question?

You mean the question about the candy seller?

I don't think they have a special name, but I could be wrong.

Oh well, I gave Ron enough time to tell you, so I better do it. He is a CONFECTIONER, In England he is anyway. May be something else where you live though.

By the way, candy is known as sweets over here. As kids we were always going down the sweet shop.

I thought a confectioner was someone who made candy, and not sold it? I could be wrong (very rarely though   ).

We have snow in the mountains. I was hoping to have seen the end of it.

Peter, I didn't bother to comment because I felt Sue H was correct in the first post response...So confectionist you sweet thing (I was thinking more of an almond nut actually) or perhaps that you are the original fruit and nut case with a chocolate chip on your shoulder!
