It was the ones from Poe I was thinking about. you know how all the 'Stepford Wives' wandered around with beautific expressions on their faces, from living in Utopia? Well our Upoetians would have similar expressions too, but it would be because they were sozzled!

There is nothing better than listening to a drunken overweight 'couch potato' singing with mawkish passion 'I did it my way', is there?? It makes me 'well up' just thinking of it!

Ewww Karaoke.Tongue out I suppose...if everyone else desires it! LOL! But I have no head for business. I'd have to entrust that to more capable minds than mine!

We should definitely have entertainment. How about local talent?  I'd love to be involved in designing and decorating the pub. In addition to the traditional tables, I envision several fire places and comfy cushy chairs.Laughing

Yes so do I, with colour coordinated spitoons, and green dyed sawdust on the floor. It would look nice.

go for it Diana I thought a spitoon featured in all the  'spit and sawdust' . bars out west, or do you call them 'cuspidors' The green sawdust on the floor is to blend in with the upchucked drinks. lol
