In fact Linda-Mary, I did have a quick look around and it seems there was a Joanna Brind who held the position of President but I wasn't previously aware of it. Will have to look into it a little deeper to find out who she is.

Who I was thinking of was John Reginald Homer Weaver (1882-1965) who was President of Trinity College, Oxford from 1938-54.
