Can't say I've been to any big cities in England apart from London, but York is a lovely city, Nick.

And I think it's true what Sue said, about the grass being greener elsewhere.  My experience of the cities I have visited is that they all have both good and bad.  And of course, tourists get to see the good stuff.

John, I'm very glad you have that voice activated typing software.  I, for one, would miss your posts if you were unable to type.

John---sorry to have learnt about your accident and may I wish you a speedy recovery. I tried Via Voice a couple of years ago and it does actually work. A friend of mine who is blind has software that can read and write his emails and read websites for him too. If you didn't know his circumstances, you'd never guess. As Ruth, look forwards to reading your posts.
