Hi My name is Carolyn Branscum, I live in the USA but my ancestor came from England and there sur name was BRANSCOMBE I would loved to come over there and vist. I have seen pictures of Devon and Branscombe and the pictures are veery lovely and great  and to find a little bit of my family history would be great. Hello Carolyn, a very warm welcome to POE (Pictures of England).  Here you will have the opportunity of chatting to English folk & Anglophiles from all around the world on the forums.  As well as looking at all the stunning pictures of England the members put on here.

You could probably start looking into your family history already.  But first start with any relatives that are alive  and get them to tell you about the family, any photos, documents, diaries, letters, etc.  That will give you some names to start with, then you will have information to start tracing back into the family history.
