Just recieved this response to one of my images (Ightham Mote Picture #1)

"...Do you have a problem with acquiring privacy? How about piranha for the moat! And a sign saying...uninvited intruders do so at your own risk!..."

I have no idea what this crazed woman is talking about...can anyone translate?

I don't have a button to delete this comment, Geoff, so I will email Chirs, Sarah and Ron.

Thank you for bringing it to our attention.

I can't quite make sense of the comment myself, maybe it wasn't intended as an insult, just very poor use of words.

I think you may be right Sue,

I've just been looking at her comment history.....interesting use of words on some of them.

One in particular stood out. It was a picture of someone strolling in the woods, a very calming and peaceful imaage. Her comment was "...So is this your mate, or are you a voyeur?..."...or words to that effect.

 Strange

OK, obviously we have someone Chris, Sarah or Ron need to deal with.

Sorry that you were a target, but you know from all the other comments that your pictures are wonderful, so don't be worrying about this woman/man who is obviously just out to cause trouble.

Hi members, only just got in so sorry for not being able to deal with this a little sooner, however; Chris and Sarah have now deleted the offending material and thanks, as Sue H says for bringing it to our attention.

No problem guys,

These types don't bother me really, I just cannot fathom out what makes them do do such things. ....some kind of strange adrenaline rush possibly?

On a happier not, great site, well moderated.

My wife is also posting on here now and she's really got the photography bug after seeing her images online. It's really nice to now have a true companion on my photographic adventures so a big thank you for that.

Anyway, on with the show :)

Geoff

Have we welcomed your wife yet Geoff, what's her name (apart from Mrs Stamp that is!!)

With regard to your comments above, the members actually care about each other here in the forum. Might sound a bit 'yeah likely story' ish but it's very true. We have a great website and forum, and a brilliant bunch of members so thanks to you also for being part of the family Geoff (and Mrs Geoff Stamp that is).
