Why do the day's threads vanish?

nah we dont go away as much now like we used to do.

That set me to thinking when we last went away anywhere, other than a weekend visit to my son, it must be more than 2 years now.  Past time for another one but don't think hubby will be able to take any time off again for a while!!

we like to get away about 3 times a year,now that we are both retired we have the opportunity to do it but with hospital appointments and looking after g/kids regular our trips have become less and less.

Whenever we had the chance we took the grandchildren away with us, been some time since we could do that though

we may see the lads again in july for 4 days then bring em north for a week in summer hols.
