Hi Paul, thats better now that we can see who we are talking to. Obviously a bit of an anorak when it comes to the good music of the 50's, 60's and 70's unlike some of the rubbish performed to day! Well done, there will be plenty who will be able to say oh yes (myself included) now that you have told us the answers.

Sue G-R, Thanks for that bit of info, did'nt know that but what are Donkeys Years? Are you from Wales, and did you mean Donkeys EARS? Maybe that Peter can tell us?

Lyn, I bet you had to Google it to be sure, and yes for once I put my hands up...I got it wrong! 'G' as in Gerry, rather than 'J' which in fact reminds me, I need to go to the bathroom...

Hi Ron, hope you found one or two of the answers of interest. Gerry Marsden? Never heard of him.......I suspect you had a secret career as wordsmith for The Barron Knights, for surely, only you could have ever thought up..."Ground Control to Ginger Tom"!

I could see that one Diana, its Paul's new one I was having problems with, sitting there strumming his guitar, but after I loaded it in Internet explorer instead of Firefox and cleaned out the cache and cookies its working fine now. I'm back on Firefox and i'm a happy bunny lol

Paul....I knew ALL the answers but I kept quiet cos I didn't want to spoil it for all the others Wink LOL...

I can see you are going to fit in (have already done so) very nicely in the forum Paul but sadly, it's only some of the older members who are going to remember! Now who were the Barron Knights, am I old enough to remember? Good stuff Paul, keep it coming!

Diana, regarding the avatar, I think it depends on how much junk you have on your PC. I'll mention it to Chris and Sarah in due course to see if they have any thoughts on the matter.

The Barron Knights came from this area where I live, my claim to fame LOL My favourite group of all time in the 60's were the Walker Brothers...swoonnnn I even managed to see them in the Odeon Cinema once, along with Roy Orbison and a few others who I cant remember now.

I wonder where the saying came from, maybe someone can enlighten me.
