This bloke was a big man 6ft, 3 and nearly as broad, rough as buggery, but a heart of gold. His wife was a school principal, and he, a teachers aid, He used to always wear shorts and a Hawiian shirt, but his boss, the school marm, didn't like it.

He cried when I gave him the poem when he left the district.

Beautiful, Wolf!  Thanks for sharing it.  I think Harry's due back tomorrow, if I'm not mistaken.

Really sorry to hear about your friend moving away Wolf, but thanks for sharing the words you wrote for him. It was a wonderful poem.

That was a very touching poem Wolf. It's hard to leave friends behind, or have them leave you behind. Some people think it's just rough on the young ones, but we all know how important good friends are throughout our lives, no matter our ages.

I wonder how harry is doing.

Would you believe that after fishing last Saturday ( and catching nothing) we saw a large gathering of people on the lake bank. On investigation we found it was a presentation for a football club, and who should happen to be there but my old mates J.B. and Sandra, who had come down from Sydney.SmileCool
