Nope, I've never taken to it really. Made up words like deuce don't help its' cause. Real tennis is a bit more interesting, you get to bounce the balls off a roof and the sides of a building. Come to think of it, that's even more stupid. Ban it.

I used to love Wimbledon when we had all the characters in it. Sorry Lyn, I will still be watching it this time as I very much like it!!    I even watch the football (and get the collywobbles) when England are playing, which isn't very often these daysCry

I didn't even know it was on, so I guess that's a goose egg from me too, Lyn.  I never thought I'd watch golf, but Tiger Woods is pretty amazing to watch.  If anyone was ever born to play golf, it's him.

Good morning peoples,

I must admit to liking tennis, playing the game more than watching it.

I did watch the Wimbledon fortnight years ago, when players such as Bjorn Borg and other characters of his era 'served up' (if you will pardon the pun') such riveting entertainment for us.

I must confess that the current players do not have the same attractions for me though.

It's called 'getting old' I think!

Ray.

That Tiger Woods is great Ruth I like him and he wins a lot of matches I wish I could play golf Kevin could fetch the ball but they all wear silly cloths and Kevin would have to have those check trousers and all Mrs Tregallion says she likes doggy fashion but Kevin would be better just as he is I think
