I remember Mark Sptiz Ray, if I remember rightly he won about 6 or maybe 7 gold  medals at one Olympics, not sure which one though, I have a feeling it may have been Munich, but I'll have to Google it.

I dont watch the Olympics. I find it boring. Now if they went back to the original way of taking part ie: in the nude, it would be a lot more ineresting. I might even watch it then. He he he.

Frought with problems Peter. The potential for errors in the Men's 100 Mtrs Relay; the hurdles would like set a new Olympic time--for the slowest ever recorded; rowing teams might fear facing disqualification for having too many cox; a photo finish in the 100 mtrs sprint might well reveal some competitors had an unfair advantage.

Brilliant Paul!!

I am fed up with the Olympics already - my boys keep playing the Wii Sonic and Mario at the Olympic Games! Hence retire to the computer for a break from it!

I used to watch when Seb Coe was top man - those were the days! My sister was at Loughborough Uni at the same time as Seb. She used to write to me to tell me when she had seen him in the dinner hall!

Cheeky as always Peter!!!

Hi again Ruth - thanks - I was in Wales. Great week but I had a few accidents - I fell on the Rayburn and bruised my ribs and then I fell in the playground and bruised my nose and face!! Neither time I had my camera thank goodness - now that would've hurt!

Thats what happens Stephanie when you drink the Welsh 'falling over water'. There is only one cure.....take more water with it and sip it slowly!
