the actor Sebastian Cabot was visiting American forces in North East Thailand during the Vietnamese War. we were part of a small team of RAF servicemen there at this U.S. Air Base. When Sebastian Cabot, who is English, saw us, he spent all his time talking to us, somewhat annoying the Americans there!

Met George Chisholme quite a few times, he lived in my village until his health deteriorated and ended up in a nursing home, he was just the same funny man in real life as he was on tv.

Been on BBC TV and BBC Radio Berkshire; had drinks with singers Matt Munroe and Errol Brown ( Hot Chocolate), bumped into several other celebrities mentioned ealeir in the forum. My Mum used to see Linda McCartney & kids doing their shopping in Peasmarsh, Sussex. A couple of friends have appeared in Midsomer Murders, notably a former lad I used to take to school on the bus, then years later,he drove the National Express coach that brings Cully home to Causton in the episode" Judgement Day". Bumped into David Frost one night near his home in central London. Nobled him for his autograph as he was there.

Jim fixed it for Jason to become a paramedic.

I knew George Chisholme as well Lyn. I  met him the last time at the London Transport training centre. He used to play in an RAF band called the squadronairs with my dad. The band went on to become Bob Miller and the Millermen.
