My friend has moved to Australia and desperately wants to come home but her husband and children want to stay. I really feel for her.

I am a home bird and couldn't leave Britain but I would love to live in South Wales, Devon or Cornwall but I can't bring myself to leave my family and my business! I just worry that when the time comes it will be too late - meaning the boys will want to stay here then! It must have been so hard for you to leave.

I could live overseas easily, I'm not one to miss anything, and I don't have a large family here so I wouldnt mind emigrating, just a pity I'm over 50 now. My mums best friend had several children, one went to NZ in the 60's and loved it there! She came home a few times and said she'd never want to come back to England to live, and another Daughter went also in the 60's to the USA, California, she married a cop out there when she was 19. Every time she came home she said how homesick she was and she lived out there for over 40 years like you Wolf.
