I've never given blood, due to me being anaemic and I had an infection for 8 months so they don't want it.

that is a shame Lyn. Try going along to your session if you have not been screened of derferred for a particular length of time. An  'hb' test will check out your levels, and infection deferral may now be over.
I have them every 3 months for everything Ray, blood tests I mean, and my white cell count was still a little too high even after all this time which inidicates the infection is still lurking and my potassium level was too high as well, not through eating too many bananas though lol I would willingly donate blood but sometimes I don't have enough for myself LOL  My sister got an award for donating so many pints, she's been doing it for years now.

Tuff Ray, I didn't miss you one little bit! (Ha, ha). It's really hard going back in the threads to see whats been going on. There's so much to go through nowadays, a huge increase in members so if I were you I would confuse everybody and start another thread, something like 'Who really missed me?' That way you get all the support going! Oh by the way MG is forbidden to comment!!

Hello Ron,

I am sorry you did not miss me a bit, but there you go. I actually know I have been accepted when you insult people (Poor Peter! lol) So thank you for saying you missed me in a roundabout fashion. I missed you too!....in a roundabout fashion.

Seriously Ron, I am glad that you and Anna are now well on the mend.

Regards, Ray.
