My best friend of 33 years is moving away. There won't be anybody physically here now to talk to, or get together with, or to help if I need it. She will be gone by the end of the week. Life just will not be the same here at all. Cry

At least with email and the like we can feel closer to our friends, though of course there is nothing like a real shoulder to cry on, or a real person to go out to lunch with, or a real good laugh with a friend.

You sure have that right. Esp. with living still in the same house as Craig and being overwhelmed with Elsie's care right now. And Elsie most likely will be having foot surgery in December too. I hate being stuck in the house.
