We have a thread for favorite pictures in general; I thought it would be nice to have one of just animals for all of us animal lovers! Smile

Absolutely Sue! In fact I am including a butterfly here too!  What is that first bird? He's a regal looking fellow.

The first bird I posted is a Coot, but if you click on it to make get it's full size, you can see how stunning it looks.

This is a great shot. Badgers are hard to see, but it looks like Roger was sat right there waiting for it to emerge for it's evening ramble.

Phew! I thought I was going to have to go through all 2071 wildlife pictures to find this one. I knew it was in there somewhere, and luckily it was only number 74.

This is a fall down flat shot.

Thanks Sue and Diana for picking some of my pics. We have some great chickens around and about Diana. My step sister-in-law who comes from Taiwan and lives in Hong Kong visited once and we took her to a children's farm. Every chicken/fowl we saw she said "Can you eat?" so when we got to one like this I said "Yes you can but you can pluck it!".

We can't have an animal section without a squirrel or our wonderful nature photographer Roy  -
